Adult Bible Study

Adult Bible Study

Adult Bible Study is for all lifelong learners who wish to learn about our Church and how it came to be. Most Catholics have little understanding of our Church history and the continuity between Jesus, the Apostles, the Saints, and us! We have stories from the Bible but where do they fit in the story? Why are these stories important?

Join us on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9:00am to 11:00am for a structured bible study. Please note: there are different courses taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They are not the same content!

Group leader Michelle Templeton can be reached at 623-340-2763 or mzaktemp@gmail.com to answer questions.

Cursillo

Cursillo

“Cursillo” translates to “short course.” The full title of Cursillo is “a short course in living what is fundamental for being a Christian.” We meet so that we can have a firm foundation of living as Christians, through encounters with Christ and others. Our ultimate purpose is to spread the Gospel to the world! We focus on lifting up one another and helping each other grow in our relationship with Christ. We meet on Saturday mornings at 9:00am in the Parish Hall!

Men's Scripture Study

Men's Scripture Study

St. Jerome said that “ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ.” We provide the men in our parish the opportunity to enhance their biblical knowledge and better understand how God’s word speaks and guides us in our lives. We read and discuss the Sunday readings and explore how to apply their wisdom. We meet weekly year-round on Wednesdays at 9:00am in the Parish Hall. Hot, steaming coffee and donuts are also provided!

Want to join but have questions? Contact Manny at manbert2013@gmail.com.

Cor Dialogue

Cor Dialogue

The mission of Cor is to refocus Catholic men on Jesus Christ and to form and strengthen them in faith and virtue through a brotherhood committed to prayer, formation, and fraternity. The goal of each Cor gathering is to provide the opportunity for men to encounter Christ, to pray together, to be formed in their faith, and to strengthen their bonds of brotherhood, preparing them for courageous leadership and the mission of evangelization for their families and communities. The word “Cor” is Latin for heart and the root of the word courage. Prayer, Formation, and Fraternity all begin with the heart and direct the heart in relationship to God and each other.

Cor gatherings will be held in the new Parish Center from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, beginning October 10th, and is open to all men of the parish. Refreshments will be provided at each gathering.
