Disciples is St. Clare of Assisi’s Religious Education program for children in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.

The Disciples classes are family-centered with each topic presenting a variety of activities for different age groups. In order to learn about their faith together, parents and children are engaged and encouraged through prayer, discussion, videos, and crafts. You can choose how your family wants to learn each topic: In-person or Online.

We meet as families on Mondays from 4:00-5:30pm in the Parish Hall. We gather as families so each child in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade and at least one parent can participate. The Hall doors open at 3:45pm and you must sign in. We sit at round tables by families, but more than one family may be at each table, so masks are recommended. These Monday gatherings include prayer, presentations, and work for the families.

The topics are delivered via Flipgrid – the same online service we used this past year. When you register for Disciples, you will be given login information for your family’s use.

There are eight topics presented over the course of the year (September – April) with a new topic introduced each month. The schedule is as follows:

  • September 2021: Old Testament
  • October 2021: God’s Will/Ten Commandments
