Did you know that the remains of six unidentified infants were turned over to the Maricopa County Coroner between 2017 and 2022? Had these children been surrendered under the Baby Safe Haven Law. at a designated Church, Fire Station, or Hospital, some of them would still be alive. Some are even pre-born babies, their lives tragically ended too soon, perhaps by means of abortion.
Case No. 20-08159 An unidentified pre-born child, aged approximately five gestational months (17-20 weeks of pregnancy), was found in the phoenix area. This pre-born child has been unclaimed since August 6, 2020.
Case No. 17-028251 Skeletal remains of a little girl, aged 9-10 months, were found at a construction site in Phoenix. She was found with red towels, a Curious George stuffie, and a Spongebob Squarepants blanket. This little girl was turned over to the Maricopa County Coroner on April 18, 2017.
Case No. 20-09944 An unidentified newborn, between ages 38 gestational weeks and two weeks postnatal, was found deceased behind a local business. Surgical clamps and scissors were also found at the scene. This little boy was turned over to the Maricopa County Coroner on September 24, 2020.
Case No. 21-05504 An unidentified infant, estimated to be 36-40 gestational weeks (9 months of pregnancy), was found inside a backpack behind a local business. This little girl was turned over to the Maricopa County Coroner on May 28, 2021.
Case No. 22-03462 An unidentified pre-born child, estimated to be 24-25 weeks gestational age (6 months of pregnancy), was found within a local McDonald's toilet. This little girl was turned over to the Maricopa County Coroner on March 27, 2022.
Case No. 22-07192 Partial remains of an unidentified infant, who was unable to be aged due to the state of the remains, were found in the middle of an alley. The remains included a partial torso with arm and a partial leg. The umbilical cord appeared to be attached. This little one was turned over to the Maricopa County Coroner on November 8, 2022.
