High School Youth Group

Our High School Youth Group is for students in 9th-12th grade. Students participating in our High School Youth Group should have received all their Sacraments or should be involved in our Sacramental Preparation classes. Your student is, of course, very welcome regardless! If your student has not received their Sacraments and is not participating in classes and you would like them to, please contact Director of Religious Education Sarah Camplese at scamplese@stcpaz.org or (623) 975-5606.

*Please note that registration for 2023-2024 classes is currently closed. Students who are rising 9th-11th graders may enroll for the 2024-2025 year. Registration dates TBD. Seniors graduating in 2024 will need to participate in the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) to complete their Sacraments.*

Taught by Gaby Davila, a teacher with years of experience at St. John Paul II Catholic High School, students who come to High School Youth Group will deep-dive into the topics of: happiness, Creation, “Who am I?,” “What am I here for?,” Jesus Christ, Reconciliation, our mission as Catholics to evangelization, and our call to Holiness. We will use different resources like Dynamic Catholic, You from Ascension Press, Jason Evert, Bishop Barron, and more! We also take monthly service trips to the St. Vincent de Paul Dining Room in Phoenix to serve a hot meal to our neighbors in need.
